Brayden's 1st Eye Apt

I took Brayden to his first eye doctor appointment today. I was SURE when I made the appointment that he would need glasses. His eyes are super sensitive to light and he squints some when watching TV. To my surprise - no need for glasses right now. Doctor said he was a little far sighted but not enough to do anything about it right now. I guess we are all born farsighted so it may just correct itself. His sensitivity to light is just because he is so fair skinned and his eyes are so blue. So sunglasses will be a regular part of his wardrobe. I am suppose to take him back for another appointment sometime between the ages 5-6. Funny story about when we were there. Instead of using letters on the wall like they do adults...they use pictures instead (airplane, bird, cake, etc). They start off with large pictures then move the same pictures to a smaller size. After doing the first few sizes Brayden says, "I already did that one, airplane AGAIN". LOL. It was so funny!

Kunka Poo Panda Party

Today we celebrated Brayden's 4th birthday. We had a small party at pizza king. Brayden decided he wanted a 'Kunka Poo Panda' party (aka Kung Fu Panda). I think it is so cute to hear him say it that way.

Happy 4th Birthday Brayden

Since Brayden had a fever yesterday we weren't sure how he would wake up feeling today so we didn't plan much for his birthday. Instead him and I just hung around the house while daddy worked. Daddy did get off early though and brought him home ballons:

One of the presents we got him were these 'Go Paint' Finger paints. If you haven't seen these yet you have to check it out. It works like the 'wonder colors' and will only make color on its own special paper. So no paint mess all over to clean up. It is a type of powder and when you rub it on the paper it makes color:

We also got him some mini cupcakes to celebrate. Here he is picking out the perfect one:

Some of the other presents he got are: Color Splitz Pens, Spongebob book for his Tag pen and the Stuart Little movie. This kid has almost every movie imaginable.
