Happy 4th Birthday Brayden

Since Brayden had a fever yesterday we weren't sure how he would wake up feeling today so we didn't plan much for his birthday. Instead him and I just hung around the house while daddy worked. Daddy did get off early though and brought him home ballons:

One of the presents we got him were these 'Go Paint' Finger paints. If you haven't seen these yet you have to check it out. It works like the 'wonder colors' and will only make color on its own special paper. So no paint mess all over to clean up. It is a type of powder and when you rub it on the paper it makes color:

We also got him some mini cupcakes to celebrate. Here he is picking out the perfect one:

Some of the other presents he got are: Color Splitz Pens, Spongebob book for his Tag pen and the Stuart Little movie. This kid has almost every movie imaginable.

Now he can hardly wait for his 'Kunka Poo Panda' (aka Kung Fu Panda) party. I can't believe my baby is FOUR!

Happy Easter?

Easter morning Brayden woke up with a fever of 102. He was feeling so yucky he didn't even care that the Easter Bunny had brought him something. Worked out in my favor since the day before I was in bed all day super sick throwing up and didn't have time to get his basket together. Instead I just grabbed a handfull of stuff I had put away for him and gave that to him.

I hoped that the candy pooping bunny would cheer him up:

Coloring Easter Eggs

I was SO super sick that I wasn't able to color Easter egss with Brayden this year. Instead I was in bed feeling like I was going to die (I probably threw up 10 times in a six hour span). So daddy took on the chore and even took pictures so I wouldn't totally miss out on it!

Easter Exchange

I am on this GREAT online moms group that I really enjoy (just wish I had more time to be involved in it). For the past few holidays we have been doing a gift exchange with the kids. So for Easter I was really looking forward to the exchange. We got a 7 year old girl so we did her a theme gift with lots of Hannah Montana stuff, finger nail polish, nail dryer, etc. We are suppose to have a $10 limit (including shipping) but I never stick to it. I always tend to over buy....but I love it. Even threw in a little something for her mommy. Brayden got his in the mail and it was jammed packed with FUN stuff: chalk, candy, crayons, bubbles, games, etc.

This was a neat little thing! It has gummy worms on the top then the bottom part was a powder mix that you just add to water to make a kool-aid type drink:

NiKilie's Basketball Game

Cousin NiKi had her FIRST basketball game of the season. Thought it would be fun to take Brayden to watch....plus NiKi is so cute I couldn't pass it up. Last year during BittyBall we were calling her 'Paris' (aka Paris Hilton) cause they all just ran around clueless...but she looked adorable doing it. I was wondering what she would be like this year and she was of course still cute as ever - but less Paris like. I think her favorite thing to do was steal the ball then run down the court for a basket. It was SO cute.....and basiclly all they did. I still think they are pretty clueless to the game. He he he.

Brayden got impatient so we didn't stay for the whole game. Not really a big deal though cause at this age they don't keep score anyway. I am going to try and be better about going to more of them this season.....but we shall see.

My nephew DiSean's birthday is on April 4th - but since he had basketball that day we weren't able to celebrate his birthday. So he decided that today we should all meet at Sizzler for his birthday dinner.
